Wing 翼(古箏與電聲)
Composer: Hsiao, Yung-Shen
Wing was inspired from the sounds created during the interaction of
composer and Guzheng performer.The materials of whole composition was
created during the interaction process in the pre-composition stage. The
structure of the whole piece is designed in different consecutive
sections, the
idea of the compositional structure is focus on the extension of Guzheng
timbre, spectral variations, diffusion and integration of the physical
space. The performance of live Guzheng riding on the wing of live
electronics, and variant gradually through the depth of sound
morphology: between silent and active, simple and complex, light and
thick.
The guzheng performer sprinkle and soar through the variation of
emotion, speed, and timbre.
《翼》發想於創作者與演奏家在聲音的互動過程中所產生的聲響、以及探索未知的精神，
希望透過音樂表達一個從未放棄的心，以及對於未知世界永遠無法滿足的渴望。 電子音樂是古箏原聲的延伸，變化於頻譜之間，擴散與融合於空間之中:
古箏像是乘坐在電聲的翅膀之上，伴隨著聲音的景深逐漸變化， 在靜與動、單純與複雜、淡與濃的聲音型態之間，隨著情緒、速度、音色的變化揮灑與翱翔。
